Fancy Publications

This has been a great mail week! I received my contributor copies for two publications I have work in, an illustration in one and poems in another.

What to Read in the Rain
826 Seattle publishes an annual anthology of writing by professional writers and kids called What to Read in the Rain. The book features writing by Dave Eggers, Tom Robbins, and the amazing 826 kids. My illustration from 826 Seattle Art-a-phone project is included along with the students' writing from the project.

You can get a copy of What to Read in the Rain online or from many fine Seattle hotels.

Thanks Justin Allan and 826 Seattle!

Prime Number Editors' Selection Volume 2
Prime Number Magazine published a couple of my poems back in 2011, and they were recently selected for Volume 2 of the Editors' Selection publication!

I am thrilled my poems "And the Dreams of Vaudeville Follow Us All Home" and "Memories of Ukulele and the Girl Who Loved Her" are included.

You can support Press 53 and Prime Number by purchasing a copy of Volume 2 or by checking out the online journal.

Thank you Cliff and Val!

  2. I'm especially impressed by the 826 publication; what good company to be in! And also: what good bookshelves to be on!
